Our dedicated staff works hard to make sure your pet feels comfortable and relaxed. Whether it’s their first boarding experience, or they’re seasoned regulars, their wellbeing is central to everything we do from managing the climate in the kennels to the dog safe aromatherapy oils diffused through the kennel area. The kennel area also has sound proofing in the walls to insulate the dogs against thunderstorms.

Indoor Boarding with Outdoor Play

At Barker's Cove, we start the day with a bathroom break and breakfast at 7am. At 11 am our guests are moved to the group play area for morning play time. Our staff supervises and interacts with the dogs during group play time. ​

Group play allows social dogs to chase a ball or splash around in a pool. After group play, dogs are placed in their kennel for rest time.
​​
Later there is a second afternoon play time at 2:00.

Guests receive an evening meal, a fourth and final break in the yard, and are then put to bed in their private sleeping areas.

Every dog sleeps inside in a quiet, private, temperature-controlled room on blankets to help them go to sleep. We play meditation or classical music to block unwanted noises and soothe the pups.
GROOMING
A Stress-Free Experience
Baths
Drop off your pup in the morning between 8 and 10:30 and let us pamper them with a Cucumber Melon Foaming Facial, Ear Cleaning, selection of Warren London or Nature's Specialties shampoos, and then a Sani-Scrub Paw and Nail Cleanser. Dogs are hand dried, then their nails are trimmed and ground smooth.

Full Grooming Service
Barker's Cove now offers grooming. We will take the best care of your dog. Following a spa bath your dog will be hand dried and groomed to perfection. Grooms include a haircut, brushing, dematting, deshedding, nail trim, scissoring of feet and pad shaving, ear cleaning and sanitary trim.

Your dog can even enjoy a play group while here for their grooming free of charge. Or schedule your dog to be groomed while here for boarding.
​
Your dog will need proof of vaccinations from a veterinarian to be groomed or bathed.

DAYCARE
Plenty of Love and Attention
Daycare is one of our most popular services, especially for repeat clients. We pride ourselves on our professional yet fun approach, and do everything necessary to ensure your pets are safe, secure and happy. Daycare is offered Monday through Friday and is $25/dog. Reservations are required.
