Medication process: Who administers medicines, how is dosing documented?
- Medications are administered by our staff. Medications are part of our Feeding and Medication Report we run for each meal. Staff initials as medicine is given. We are able to give all types of medications including injections.
Requirements: we do need original prescription bottles + written instructions.
Emergency protocol: Who authorizes treatment?
- our waiver allows us to seek medical treatment. We make a concerted effort to reach you before seeking veterinary care.
- We do ask for you to make a DNR decision and keep it on file. This decision can be changed in writing at any time.
Housing: All dogs are housed with non-slip flooring. Our seniors are given soft bedding with a non-slip bottom to help with mobility.
Trial run: Can you do a short day visit first?
- All dogs are offered a free "meet and greet" daycare day before their first stay.

Our staff monitor all of our guest dogs closely for safety and comfort; check-ins occur multiple times daily.
